I like basketball so I picked this game up and the only thing I can say about it is that it gets the job done.

Gameplay is fun - I feel as though the shooting and driving and defending are all more tight than previous games.

But what in the hell have they done with My Career? Literally just wanna play through a career of basketball and there is all this bullshit - fashion, music, brands, endorsements, skateboarding around an ugly city - that blocks me from the next games. My Career has slowly been slipping in this direction since Spike Lee's terrible take on it - cheesy dialogue and stories. I hate to be an oldhead but maybe little kids like this crap? It's such a waste of time to me. Fuck this shit.

PC edition is not bad.. on Xbox Series X? It's awesome!
NBA 2K22 certainly hasn't earned a foul of any sort, but may not win a championship either. Let's say that NBA 2K22 won its conference title and might have made it to the finals, but not an NBA Championship this year. There's always something else to improve before championship status can be awarded.

NBA 2K22 certainly hasn't earned a foul of any sort, but may not win a championship either. Let's say that NBA 2K22 won its conference title and might have made it to the finals, but not an NBA Championship this year. There's always something else to improve before championship status can be awarded.
NBA 2K22 is much improved over the NBA 2K21. As with most all yearly serial sports franchise computer games, developing a completely new game engine takes a lot of work and time, work that probably couldn't be completed within the years. When taking into consideration the disappointments involving the 2021 edition, Visual Concepts and 2K Sports really did a good job with the 2022 game.
It rolled around the rim and dropped in for two. Here's hoping that future editions can sink the three-pointer.
On next-gen, with new features on the MyNBA mode, and improved gameplay. As well as new features in overall, It's basically one of the best basketball games.
