I've played the game a little more, and I think I would move it down to a high 7/10. There is a lot of variety that come with all the different starting "hands" you can choose, but the actual amount of dice available and the other mechanics currently make it not super interseting for me, although as I stated in my first status for this game, that could also just be because I suck at this game and can't really make it that far. However, when I'm playing stuff like Slay the Spire 2, which I think is an actual solid to high 8/10 game, I feel like this game is definitely a tier below that.

Pretty fun game, but I feel like i'm too stupid to fully enjoy it. I feel like I have a handle on games like Balatro, but man I just could not get that far in this game after like 2 hours, and I don't think it's really the game's fault, it's just me not being smart enough. I think I …

Pretty fun game, but I feel like i'm too stupid to fully enjoy it. I feel like I have a handle on games like Balatro, but man I just could not get that far in this game after like 2 hours, and I don't think it's really the game's fault, it's just me not being smart enough. I think I will come back to this game in the future when there are more die (my only complaint really, I feel like there are not enough die) and maybe some guides to help get better at the game.

The game isn't even that complex, but something about it doesn't mentally click for me, so I end up not doing well and getting a little frustrated, through no fault of the game. I think it is a pretty cool idea with some charming visuals and good progression (from the little I've seen since I haven't been able to get far lol).

I think I've also run into the point in my life where unless a Roguelite really clicks for me, I'm likely going to move on to a full Single Player campaign experience. Although, I find myself getting burnt out of those fast (I have had Metaphor on hold for 2 weeks after putting 30 hours into that as of the time of writing this....).

Overall, a fun game I want to come back to in the future when I'll hopefully have a better understanding of the game, and thus have some more fun. Light 8/10.
