This game kicks ass!

I thought Metroid Dread was the most badass game this year but this game is definitely up there! The combat, the amazing aesthetics and music all mesh together so well and make this the surprise hit of the year for me. The only thing that drags it down is the numerous bugs I encountered playing it. There were times that I failed some of the more difficult platforming/combat sections due to the game not recognising button inputs. Hopefully this will get patched eventually but right now it’s a bit of a mess sometimes. You play as a three-armed mutant and the gameplay is a linear 2D action platformer with amazing combat. My best description would be Flashback on speed. There is a lot of cool combat animations and slowmotion executions which makes even minor fights feel cool. If you think it sounds cool to beat up a guy with a sword while your third arm stabs the guy behind you or jumping into a room full of enemies while blasting with your three guns in different directions, then this is a game for you! I could go on but you’d do best in just buying this game and play it …

Very fun 2D action game, fun combat and some decent although not complex platforming. Had a cool space frontier vibe and the story was actually pretty engaging. Kinda short though, shit just ends on a cliffhanger pretty much though, I hope there will be a sequel. Had a leetle bit of jank in some spots though. I'd recommend throwing it on a wishlist and grabbing on sale
