What a great game, takes me back to old school games as far as the difficulty of some parts but the whole series is amazing in the way it is mysterious and makes you want to know what’s going on

I have a love-hate relationship with this game.
On the one hand, I love its aesthetic. I've never seen anything else so simultaneously horrifying and adorable.

However... I'm not usually a fan of games being too overbearing on the hand-holding... but I definitely could have used more in the way of a tutorial for this one. Or at least some kind of hint mechanic once you've died to the same puzzle 20+ times. This game is pretty simple. That simplicity doesn't mesh well with the about-ready-to-throw-your-controller-across-the-room levels of frustration I had with it at times. I'll be honest. I didn't finish it. For the abovementioned reason. That simplicity meant I just wasn't invested enough to put up with the gameplay being so frustrating that it wasn't fun anymore.
