I'm about 3 hours and I've got only 3 hells left. I think I'll try to space it out a bit. Although with the different modifier thingies I think you're supposed to replay levels many times over and chase the leaderboards, which I won't do.

This is just sooo good. I can get into the rhythm and achieve some sort of trance state in which I almost play in autopilot. But in a good way.

The narration is pretty bad, though.

The final boss track is sooooo good. Too bad I died I few seconds in since I am playing on the hardest difficulty.

Coming to game pass next week will give it a look because I am in waiting mode for Trails From Zero at the end of the month.

Interesting idea, but not for me. I’m not great at rhythm games and while some of the songs that kick in get your blood pumping I think I’d rather just replay Doom 2016 or Doom Eternal. Troy Baker’s awful narration doesn’t help matters either. This is definitly a pass.

Two minor complaints: 1) the red-brownish enemies don't sand out from the red-brownish environments, which hinders the …

Two minor complaints: 1) the red-brownish enemies don't sand out from the red-brownish environments, which hinders the fast-paced combat a bit. 2) the narrator's voice sounds out of place with the rest of the game; too human and normal.

This looks like BPM but with proper songs instead of generic riffs and interesting hand-crafted levels instead of a couple of rooms shuffled around... Although the brownish environments are still on the ugly and generic side.
