Read moreBeen messing around with a few Kirby games on and off for the last month or so, since it’s a series I had no real experience with, and nothing had really clicked or felt super fun besides just “yeah this is not bad I guess.” This one, though, I like quite a bit thanks to its super unique and fun touchscreen-only gameplay. I got a grip on it pretty quickly and am finding it a lot more fluid and engaging to play than Superstar Ultra, which was fun enough but just not my type of game I guess. The little minigames after each section are a fun twist on the gameplay as well, I especially liked the Breakout-esque one. We’ll see if my opinion holds in the second half.
