Shadow of Destiny is an adventure game. There are no action elements in the game, and the protagonist has no health bar. Each chapter has a time limit, during which Eike has to find a way to prevent the murderer from killing him. This is mainly achieved by traveling through time to different hours, days, years, and even centuries. Obtaining a crucial item, having a conversation with a specific character, or performing another action in the past will prevent Eike from getting killed. This is mainly achieved by traveling through time to different hours, days, years, and even centuries. Obtaining a crucial item, having a conversation with a specific character, or performing another action in the past will prevent Eike from getting killed. Time-traveling requires energy units, which can be found by exploring the town. If Eike fails to achieve the goal at hand within the allotted time and prevent his murder, the chapter must be restarted. During the course of the game the player will have several choices and opportunities to change the future in various ways. Due to the time-traveling feature, many objectives can be accomplished in non-linear ways, branching the storyline and eventually resulting in eight different endings, six of which can be achieved during the first playthrough, and two others unlocked after having reached the other six. Time travel to stop a tree from being planted and foil your stabber who was hiding behind it

This is perhaps one of the dumbest games ever made to involve time travel of any capacity whilist using alchemical mythology with a lot of liberty, there may or may not have like a plot twist (if you give this game the little credit out of pity) that explains why Mr. Kush is so inane as to how to solve little issues in one of the many hilarious silly endings. The game is worth experiencing ironically just for the sake of how hilariously bad it is but I just ended up losing my PC copy of this game and never decided to bother again. enter image description here

giopep's review of Shadow of Destiny
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

A very peculiar and interesting adventure game. Once you get past the dated graphics and control scheme (and the atrocious localization/voiceover), you can find a fascinating plot, some interesting themes, a lot of crazy shit going on, lovely puzzles based on time travel and really interesting mechanics. Also, compared to similar japanese adventure games, getting to see all the endings is much less of a pain in the ass (but if you want the 100% completion, prepare to suffer). Overall, I can see why it became a cult.

Obtained ending "B", will have to replay to obtain the remaining five endings. Shouldn't take too much time or effort, seeing as ending "B" play through took just under four hours.
