Goosebumps: Escape from Horrorland is the interactive sequel to R.L. Stine's kids' horror novel, One Day at Horrorland. You and Lizzy, her brother Luke, and his friend Clay are once again trapped in Horrorland, a sinister, scary "theme park." When Luke and Clay are captured, you and Lizzy must find them and escape from the park with your lives. However, you must go up against a mummy, a werewolf, Dracula, and many more monsters in order to escape.

Oh the 90's...
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

Combining the classic stories from R.L. Stine and puzzle solving, Goosebumps: Escape from Horrorland is a surprising entry in the horror genre, even though children were the targeted audience for this release.

Growing up in the 1990's has its nostalgic benefits and Goosebumps was a pretty big part of that and probably one of the biggest influences for my love of all things horror, thankyou R.L. Stine!

Though this game is compiled of mostly still images with interactive items to select, it has its own lore and atmosphere that truly brings the books to life. To escape the horrors of Horrorland you must combine items of interest to solve puzzles and occasionally flee from enemies by QTE down various parts of the park.

With its simplistic gameplay it does manage to be a memorable experience, one that's been lost to time. Anyone who was in the Goosebumps Fan Club will appreciate this game!
