Interesting but dead chess game
This game manages to make a boring game like chess interesting with a new rule (if your king crosses the middle line you win) and 5 new armies each with different abilities. Unfortunately, multiplayer is dead and the AI is weak (no difficulty levels either).

This game manages to make a boring game like chess interesting with a new rule (if your king crosses the middle line you win) and 5 new armies each with different abilities. Unfortunately, multiplayer is dead and the AI is weak (no difficulty levels either).
Chess 2 might also be the only game i've ever played that completely lacks a settings menu. You can't even turn off the music! In the same vein there's no way to look up the rules for custom pieces during a game. Another thing that shows the game is unfinished is the "challenges" section, which has never actually been implemented.
I think you can play against friends now, so it might be worth getting on sale if you've got someone to play this with. It's definitely not worth it otherwise.
