How Long Is Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken?
Simple. like chicken nuggets
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version
While obviously this is a console side-scroll shooter, it has a bit of a puzzling side, absolutely great music and unfortunately annoying flying sections with poor control. The bird-based lore is quirky and the game doesn't outstay its welcome.
Worthless Gameplay
Intro
In this game you walk across a 2D level shooting penguins. Platforming is limited to basic jumping and crouching. You also have to find keycards.
Review
This game looks quite nice. Other than that it is awful. It has the absolute most basic platforming elements, i suspect so they could try to trick people into thinking it's a platformer and/or an actual game. Mostly you walk through corridors shooting enemies. Even among indie action platformers this game stands out as being lazy and bad. I'm honestly struggling to think of a worse game in the genre, and i've played terrible ones.
I'm sorry in advance, but are there really people out there that would buy a physical release of Rocketbirds?
