Generic decent and difficult
I played this on my iPhone with Backbone One. It worked well and is a decent example of what you get with a Backbone. It’s a fun enough platformer with no story to bother with.

I played this on my iPhone with Backbone One. It worked well and is a decent example of what you get with a Backbone. It’s a fun enough platformer with no story to bother with.
If this came out in 1990, it would be the start of a beloved franchise. As it is, it’s difficult with lots short levels that reward exploration but otherwise bland and does little beyond mechanics to provide any joy. I couldn’t get past level 6-8 and decided I didn’t care enough to keep trying. Still, I got a year of jumping/stabbing fun while on the toilet for $5.
