Preliminary: This seems like a mediocre shmup, especially since it's limited to the Game Boy's capabilities, but the first tune is actually pretty decent, the controls are surprisingly responsive, and I like the scrolling background effect. Preliminary: This seems like a mediocre shmup, especially since it's limited to the Game Boy's capabilities, but the first tune is actually pretty decent, the controls are surprisingly responsive, and I like the scrolling background effect. Not a fan that the obstacles do damage to you, and there are so many already. That first stage ended quite anticlimactically ha, and then the second stage's song is the exact same. Meh. We shall see how much further I go. But still surprisingly not terrible for an early GB shmup.
Yeahhh, half way through the 2nd level it was clear it was time to move on. Quite a short game but meh.
