There's a lot of evidence to sift through and examine, but the time factor for every action makes you second guess what you're doing. I suppose the time stuff makes you really think about the puzzles instead of brute-forcing them, so I can respect what it's trying to do. It kinda reminds of how Blue Prince's systems fight against the puzzle stuff, too. I will say, comparing the two, I think that Seance stumbles over its non-puzzle game systems less than Blue Prince does.

Reading ghost stories before bed that feature haunted insomniacs is not the best move for me.

The anticipation of Blake Manor has me doing silly things this holiday season.

The art style is excellent, cell shaded and mysterious, very similar to something like blue prince. The beginning of the mansion was oozing with style and intrigue.

The detective mechanics are what I was really interested in. "time" only advances when you interact with objects so you must be strategic (but you have plenty of time to literally think about the mystery). I think that's an interesting balance. Everything was satisfying to interact with and created "webs" of deductions. It seemed like the detective system was actually good (a rarity in games).

Also it gives supernatural (?) vibes with the seance so I'm interested in this.
