A short Halloween treat. At just under 8 hours, the game doesn’t waste (much) time and is filled with fun costumes, places to explore, creatures to meet, and decent combat with a ton of charm and humor.

It could have been mildly fun if not for making you replay the same, simplistic, optionless, untactical, unchallenging, QTE-afflicted mob fight a thousand times.

A worthy sequel

The first Costume Quest was a fun, and funny, little game, and the second one follows up nicely. Everything enjoyable about the first game, from the colourful visuals to the quirky characters is here, but with more costumes, and a new time travel based story. If you liked the first, you'll enjoy this one too. That said, don't expect too much new in terms of gameplay, it's pretty much more of the same.

Been working on this game a little at a time for quite a while. Just beat Ophirion. This second game feels like so much more of a grind to get through than the first one.

Simple and charming. I've been meaning to play an RPG recently and I don't think this one is scratching that itch. The systems are too simplistic, like too TOO simplistic. The environments are cool and the premise of the game is funny, but nothing incredible yet... Not sure if I will finish it.
