The game's cute but I'm just not into the whole crafting thing. My girlfriend seems to like it, though.

Nice little Vr experience, everything was adorable and it was more substantial than most of the things i have played in vr. Cute little farming sim. Now to go sleep off my vr headache for the next 9 hours ~~

an island garden with trees, a water well, watering can, and some shelves next to the well that have seeds and plants on them

Gardening in my real garden? Hell no. Gardening in VR? Hell yes!

This is perhaps the most relaxing VR title i've ever come across, and perhaps the most relaxing game I've played in general.

It's got the cutesy visuals of Animal Crossing except there's no worries of paying Tom Nooks bills, in fact there's no worry at all here. All you have to think about is petting some animals and exploring the island(s) to discover crafting recipes and useful tools.

petting a small penguin

There's something to be said for a game that allows you to set your own pace. Crafting, gardening, and exploring at your own leisure is blissful. My new hobby is taking extreme close ups of all the animals hehe

using a polaroid type camera to take a close up of an animals face. the animal is standing behind a shop counter.

I decided to try out a farming game in VR. Perhaps a more immersive experience is the thing that's missing. It started well enough with cute characters and colorful graphics but I quicky found the dreaded crafting grind that turns me off. There's a million different plants and items that you combine rather randomly to create other items that then you need to combine with more items to craft other stuff. It's exhausting.
