There were elements I really enjoyed. The art was so cute and the music was nice. But the story?? Disappointing. The ending is so abrupt, it actually made me yell out loud in surprise. It leaves so many loose ends, and it is the least satisfying ending I've ever experienced in a game, bar none. Just... really poorly written. Overall, there was just way too much going on at once. The hospital burns down, right after the game hints at some stuff about the chief doctor being a sham? They never resolve the bit about the people protesting against the hospital. Never actually explain why the whole town got sick (even though it's really obvious why). Not to mention all of the finicky little mini games that you are required to endure. I don't even think the grading system impacts the outcome of the game at all. I guess I'm just kind of frustrated that I spent 9 hours of my life just to be slapped in the face by a game that feels like it was half baked.
