In this fitness-focused title, you'll be moving the ring and a leg strap -- both of which house a Switch Joy-Con -- to move your character through a fantasy world. At certain intervals, you'll be thrown into battles. These so-called "fit battles" play out like a traditional turn-based RPG. All of your attacks are triggered by completing a specific pose or stretch, with four attack types that target different parts of your body The world will be broken up into courses that, upon completion, reward you with experience points. Day 3, 4, and 5

So I've played every day since it came out. I've stopped feeling terrifyingly sore the next morning which is a big improvement physically. Also, some of the exercises I have earned recently are actually challenging me, and I'm finding it difficult finishing them. Which is good! Feels like an honest-to-God workout.

I'm at the end of world 4. The battles are becoming slightly more complex. It isn't Baldur's Gate or anything, but certainly more complex than a fitness game has the right to be. There are now enemies who provide buffs and I've unlocked exercises that heal me. It takes a small amount of strategy to win!

I was excited when I got to shops, but IDK how much I'll actually use them. None of the outfits are exciting. Where are the Mario joggers? Where is the Splatoon style headband? Where is my Legend of Zelda fitness tunic?!

And I swear... if there isn't a Wii Fit Trainer costume, I'm gonna return my sweating ring-con to Walmart.

Day 2- I played more. RPG mechanics seem to be opening up. I would say it isn't making the game complex, but the RPG mechanics support a balanced workout routine. They split up exercise types by color and the enemies are color coded to show which attacks work best. So naturally you'll do the red type of exercise against an enemy if it is the strongest move. And since most levels have enemies of every color, you'll end up doing a bit of every type of exercise.

I got to a shop. They feel invigorating. I couldn't afford everything there, but I was able to buy a new outfit. I feel like the completionist in me will force me to get fit so I can get every item.

Level variety is starting to show too. Lots to talk about. I think Nintendo cracked it. A fitness game that works. We'll see how I feel in a week.

I'm actually kind of excited to try this. I wish the character actually looked like a fantasy character instead of someone doing exercise, but it still looks fun.
