This review is for the Nintendo Switch version

this is straight up what i look for in video games. double switch is so fully realized and so well thought out. you can make better video games than this, but i don't think you can make a better double switch than this.

at first it's just funny to watch all the video clips of the gangsters walking around in the room and determine where they're going to step. then you start to recognize the clips, but you don't mind that you've run out of clips like you do in night trap. you start to learn which trap they'll step on and you can preload it. then you start to recognize that this guy is going to take 25 seconds to step on a trap and you have time to switch over to at least two more traps before you have to get back to him. then you have to juggle all the plot-required traps around in your head and remember where you are in the game's flowchart.

there's a plot, and it's important, and fun, and funny but you totally lose yourself in the flipping of channels and setting up traps to rack up a high score. every one of the videos of guys falling in traps is fun to watch. but you rarely get a chance to see it. so when you get to stop and smell the roses, it's so pleasant. what a great game.
