Very well made walking sim horror game (with a few puzzles)
Reveil is one of the best walking sim style horror games I’ve played. It reminded me a TON of Devotion by Red Candle Games, but with a unique story and atmosphere.
3 stars is only because it’s not my favorite style of game - I prefer a bit more game-ness. But it really did everything well - interesting story that evolves well, the few puzzles were very well designed, the attention to detail in the environments were top notch.
It took me about 5 hours to knock out in one day, and it was pretty hard to put down. If you’re a fan of this type of game (think PT), but with a sci-fi bend and little puzzle / stealth sections - definitely check it out.
