My partner and I went through Immortality last weekend, and we haven't stopped talking about it since. The less said about it the better, but it has such a sense of discovery, such a sense of dread, such a sense of philosophy. The production values are top notch, worthy of being on any streaming service available today, maybe even better, because they don't have coffee cups left in the fantasy scene or bad CGI like a superhero show. The acting is tremendous, and it's a shame that they won't be eligible for anything like an Emmy, because they should get something. Immortality is quite simply one of the best game experiences ever, art of the highest caliber, something that will be remembered forever as an example of how we have only scratched the surface of the gravitas that can be conveyed through interactive, non-linear experiences.
