Simple, quick, and endearing

This game is very swift and free, so definitely worth checking out for those curious about the early origins of Amanita Design. The game essentially feels like that moment in a point-and-click adventure when you click anywhere and everywhere to understand what is happening. However, the final puzzles feel more cohesive and rewarding. The main attraction is the unique collage-like art style that Amanita Design uses in many of its other works. A quick break time game for the enthusiast!

Nice use of real life pictures in 2003

I know about the series since long, and wanted to check it out. Despite having played tons of flashgames, somehow I didn't expect this one to be this short, but it makes sense.

I know about the series since long, and wanted to check it out. Despite having played tons of flashgames, somehow I didn't expect this one to be this short, but it makes sense.

It's cute and it manages to create that small cozy universe which is charming in its own way. I like the way the used real life pictures (or at least a style that makes you think that), it's very original, especially for its time, and it does create a unique atmosphere.

The music really fits, is one of the aspect that I liked more about Samorost, and I think it's what has made me more immersed in the world. It felt like it glued all the pieces together.

It's hard to give a rating to a game like this, in the flashgame category is definitely a 4/5, but in the end I felt like it was a bit too short compared to my expectations, even though it's been a delight.

Cute point and click game

Played the (free) 2021 remaster. Very short (about 10-15 minutes) point and click game. From the studio that would later make Machinarium and Botanicula. This game feels very much like those games. Nice!

Played through this morning based on bmo's recommendation. I remember playing this when I was in college and being blown away by it. It's very modest in comparison to Amanita Design's later games, but it's pretty incredible to see just how many of the ingredients for their unique style were present from the start.
