I was really puzzled when I found out there was a DVD edition of this game, but upon playing it, now I know why haha. It's really more of an interactive movie; which isn't a bad thing at all! It's really fun and quite creative compared to other FMV games at the time. They were trendy then so you have tons of uninspired, clunky ones from that era. The acting is quite decent for a FMV game which is never something I expect from them anyway, but surprises me nicely when my expectations are exceeded.
The story is nothing life-changing but if you like Dracula, you'll enjoy it. It's still compelling and pretty charming. The time-passing mechanic is handled well and adds some tension and weight to what you decide to do. If you like investigation and/or point n' click games, I cautiously (it's still disorientating if you're not used to older games) recommend it.
