Hundreds of battles ... and for what?
This review is for the Nintendo DS version

Even though this title looks like it has some interesting features, I couldn't be bothered to push in far enough to find out. Graphics are fine. The game board itself looks really good for the tech this game is playing on. The main problem is the time commitment this game seems to demand. I would have to play hundreds of battles (not hyperbole) just to get enough cards collected to make a halfway decent deck. Maybe I'm spoiled by the newer games, like the Tag Force series, which feels much more generous. It may be worth your time though if you have nothing else to play.

My only Yu-Gi-Oh game I played on the DS vs the OGs from the GBAs.

❶ Akiza Izinski is my favorite character from the series.

❷ The gameplay and story was pleasant enough as a child playing through it at the time.

❸ TURBOOOOOOO!
