This game is mostly a straightforward Disco Elysium clone, with boring lore and a sense of humor that's pleasant enough despite being far more miss than hit. But the way it positions its fascist dweeb militia characters and its labor union journalists as two sides of the same extremist coin is just incredibly obnoxious.

Over and over again we're told that these adult male racists bear no responsibility for their harassment and violence, for they are mere victims of ambient economic anxiety. Over and over we're prompted to push the journalists (all women) towards softening their eminently reasonable critiques and making peace with the genocidal establishment. And of course the only way to complete the journalists' quest is to get them to work together with the fascists, because compromise is always the most enlightened and proper solution, even when you're bargaining for your own life. Asinine.
