If you have played any Diablo game, then you already know what Dungeon Hunter: Alliance will be like.
You take on the role of the recently deceased king, who has been resurrected by a fairy in order to defeat the forces of darkness that now have control of your kingdom. Your journey will take you through sewers, forests and elemental planes. all the while fighting hordes of monsters.
Like the story, the gameplay isn't innovative nor brings anything new to the action RPG genre. At the start of the game, you get to chose from one of three classes: Warrior, Mage or Rogue. Each class has its own playstyle and skill tree.
Whilst Dungeon Hunter: Alliance isn't very innovative, it is a solid game and the only issue I really had was the occasional lag that would happen if there were too many monster son teh screen/too many spells being used. Still, these technical issues did not ruin my experience and I had an overall good time with it. A solid additon in any Vita library.
So far, out of the warrior and the mage, the warrior is the easiest playthrough. Get the armour with the highest defence rating, stock up on potions and keep attacking the enemy. I've faced five of the game bosses and didn't need to avoid their attacks. I think the final boss won't be as much of a problem for my warrior as she was for my mage...
