The gameplay loop is very addicting. It has that souls like quality where you lose everything you have if you die. You have to do tons of quests to proceed. It starts getting a bit repetitive once you hit the midgame. Still its something unique and fun.
I have 88 hours in Arc Raiders, so the concept of loot hunting in extraction shooters is ok for me.
But this game it's so uninspired: dialogue and quests is poorly written, loot items feel totally random and don't excite me, gunfights didn't feel fun either, and base building feels like a chore.
I loved the gameplay loop. Was super satisfying buffing my duck, doing quests etc By mid-late game i realized to keep moving on it would require a lot of repeat adventures instead of progression and decided i felt satisfied with where i ended
They really should have left those elements more for a post end game instead of forcing folks to spend dozens of hours starting at jlab to progress TO endgame instead of after
Getting to mid-end game took 8 hours, going past that looked like another 12-20 and it just wasn't worth it
