A three stars dream
This was a very charming game that used stealth as a way to create environmental puzzles. It was kind of short and to the point, but it was very enjoyable. At the same time, however, it quickly got rather repetitive, to the point I had to play it in short bursts.

This was a very charming game that used stealth as a way to create environmental puzzles. It was kind of short and to the point, but it was very enjoyable. At the same time, however, it quickly got rather repetitive, to the point I had to play it in short bursts.
I think part of it was that, despite there being three different characters with different skillsets, there is no real evolution to what they can do. Hannah can always only use the blowgun and slip into crawlspaces. Alva can only ever slip up and down pipe drains and throw rocks. Sebastian can only ever choke people from behind and swim.
Because of this, despite having to switch between each character to advance once you unlock all three, and sometimes having to use two or three of them in short order, the experience does not really evolve. Or at least, it never evolves enough, or an interesting enough pace.
The way the story is handed and handled also does not help overmuch. The world is interesting, and there's plenty of notes and collectibles to pick up, but there is not enough actual interaction between characters, and the ultimate plot feels a little janky. I wish we had gotten to know more characters from Eriksholm and that the stakes had been explored better.
Anyway, those are my thoughts about the game.
