The latest issue of Bullet Points has a great essay on thematic similarities between Pinocchio and Baby Steps by Willa Bloomfield-Rowe, which is probably one of my favourite pieces of writing on it so far. Bloomfield-Rowe's been teasing a piece on it for a while and I'm happy to finally read it.

Silksong has nothing on Baby Steps. I’ve never felt so exhausted after an hour of playing a game. This is the real hard game of 2025.
