Batrice's review of The Quiet Man
This is the only game I've played in my life that is genuinely so-bad-it's good. I installed it while friends were over, and within the first five minutes we were laughing so hard our stomachs hurt. The poorly-explained combat, the terrible animations, the absolutely insane choice of presentation, it is just an astonishingly terrible idea given way too much money. I can't recommend it because it sucks, but I'll cherish the evening I spent with the lads playing it.
Completed "answered" mode. I honestly preferred it as it was originally, without audio etc.
Completed "standard" playthrough yesterday.
Now playing through "answered" mode. About 20 minutes left, which I'll conclude tomorrow.
Honestly, I prefer the standard mode.
