Braveland

Nice tactic game for ~4h of the gameplay which is kinda similar to the gameplay of Heroes of Might & Magic. Simpler, but still good. Nothing superfluous, just strategy tactic.

A good strategy game for kids

Like a simplified version of Heroes of Might and Magic, Braveland has hex-based tactical combat with different types of units and some magic spells. All in all it's a small game, with a simple branching structure for leading to the individual encounters. All in all it's a small game, with a simple branching structure for leading to the individual encounters. Together with the cute graphics, I found it to be a very nice introduction to turn based tactics for my 9-year old.
