The Real Ghostbusters, known as Garfield Labyrinth in Europe and Mickey Mouse IV: Mahou no Labyrinth in Japan, is a puzzle/platform game. The proton beams only use is to break blocks, as Venkman explores deeper into a storiless labyrinth.

A disappointment made worse with cartoon bombs used to destroy ghosts instead. They didn't think to use use iconic Ghostbuster Traps to remove ghosts?! It's a single sprite, two if animated. How much memory was wasn't available?

The Ghostbusters theme is in it. A slightly redeeming factor.

Considering its history, the ghost of a cash grab phases through. It's a North American re-skin of a European Garfield / Japanese Mickey Mouse title. Those being an egregious direct lift of 'P. P. Hammer and his Pneumatic Weapon'
