Beat on Formidable (Normal I guess). I liked using the ranged attack of Spartan; usually grab and throw an enemy then charge up the beam. I otherwise found him fairly unhandy in combat with no good cheap attacks. Maul had a good cheap attack in his charge but I hated the awkwardness of double pressing the D pad to use it. Warblade was the best character with his high movement speed, quick basic attack that gave him better chance of going straight at enemies without taking damage and with decent range, and the power attack which can outrange most enemies. His aerial attack is the cheapest move in the game, but I did not figure out I could do it until getting stuck and having to watch a let's play to see how to make a distance jump. I used him for the final level and the final boss was obnoxious; too much only getting a single hit off followed by a series of avoiding attacks which felt more like platforming than combat. Had to lower the frames per second to 30 and save state every couple seconds.

I liked the way each playable character had to be used. Never heard of the IP before, but it looks like a rip off of X men and does not seem interesting. Combat would have been better with a block and I did not care for the platforming elements. Not a bad game but nothing special.
