A decent RPG from the premium app era

Standouts: Japanese audio track, interesting story (parallel time-spaces, creation)

I enjoyed this as my first (and ultimately only) full-length RPG experience on Windows Phone. The story is interesting overall and provides the primary drive to finish. The characters themselves are interesting within the story arc although I didn't become all that attached to any of the characters. The battles are somewhat interesting for a time with the Single/Pair options but become very monotonous as the game proceeds. The ending didn't really hold up to the rest of the story; you simply defeat the Qualia but there isn't really any further story development (no revelations about what the Qualia are/their purpose/etc.). It only serves as a character development completion (all the characters recognize their desire to return to their original homes and times even though they are given the option to return to any point in time/space).

The first JRPG I have actually ever beaten. I have to admit that it's not a perfect game (even kind of bland) but it does hold a special place in my heart. The most important thing about the game is that it invited me to the RPG genre. I was pure shooter guy before it.
