I'm finding the challenges very enjoyable. Short and clear instructions that work as tutorials for the systems. It's weird that the mud physics feel so good compared with Expeditions. You really need to think about where you're going and how your tires affect the landscape. I also really like the "convoy" thing of winching two trucks and helping each other. …

Got this for cheap and tried it out a bit. I think this is (and Expeditions) what I wanted from Eurotruck simulator. A driving game in which driving offered at least a minimal challenge instead of holding trigger to accelerate and mindlessly following a waypoint.

So far this game has just been me going "damn i'm stuck... yay i'm free... oh i'm stuck again" and I love it.
My favourite strategy is to misuse any onboard equipment to save myself. Used the log crane to stop myself from sinking into the abyss before ending up in another hole 5 metres away.
