Damn, this game got me HOOKED

This roguelike kitchen builder game will make you feel between "this is impossible to beat" and "lol, I broke the game this run, and can't possibly lose".

Looks a lot like Overcooked, but plays very differently.
Surprisingly, it's even good in single player mode.

Fun and relaxing game

(Played a lot via Remote Play)

Sometimes I need a break from all the violence in games and just play something nice, something casual. That's where PlateUp! comes in.

You create a little restaurant, receive guests, make food and wash dishes. You collect upgrade plans for your restaurant to make stuff easier, like a dishwasher, a cooking pit that cannot burn food or conveyer belts that transport food to a freeze unit.

After earning 10 stars throughout 10 levels, you can make your very own franchise, which is then saved. Fail anywhere in between, and your progress is gone.

Every time you play, you unlock new recipes, buildings, decorations, locations and silly hats for your character.

Graphicly this game is nothing special. But for a simple, calming game like this, that is totally fine. The sounds effects and background music are silly and goofy.

The controls take some time to get used to, but once figured out, they are smooth and easy.

With a friend, PlateUp! becomes even more fun and when two people divide the various tasks, managing your restaurant becomes a lot easier.

I really like the simplicity of this game. You cook, clean, serve customers and collect …

I really like the simplicity of this game. You cook, clean, serve customers and collect monies, sometimes, that is all that I need in life.

Overall, I think PlateUp! is a nice, little game that offers some relaxation and satisfaction. I would surely recommend it.
