Until Red Dead Redemption comes to PC, this is the western game for you!

There are not many western games, and good ones are even more rare. This one is one of those rare good ones. I wanted Red Dead Redemption but its not on pc so I got GUN and its pretty great. During early levels I felt that combat is pretty clunky but I got used to it soon and now I can see it works well enough. Quickdrawing never gets old. The whole game is pretty great fun but the final boss is just too much annoying and not fun. If you wanna play a great western game on pc then just go for this!

For all the potential they offer, the Western genre is underutilized in games. This is by far my favorite Western of the PS2 era. You get an open Western world to explore and a decent treasure hunt story and fun missions to experience it all through. You get to be a part of all the archetypical cowboy things, jailbreaks, bar brawls, Indian attacks, cattle herding, and such. I absolutely love all the voice acting, you've got famous names like Thomas Jane, Kris Kristofferson, and Ron Perlman.

The gunplay is smooth and fun with plenty of upgrades to better firearms. There are many fun side activities to participate in and lots of great locations to explore.
