This game is really not getting the love it deserves. It is from the developer of Vision Soft Reset, and shares some commonality in the boldness and originality of the game design. This game though is much better in my opinion - it does every typical Metroidvania element really well.

It features character swapping, very unique one-way tunnels (aka veins/blood vessels), some cool mind trickery and it’s all wrapped up in a solid action platformer.

My favorite element was slowly piecing together the world- uncovering new connections and finding the path forward. It has a great hand-crafted feel to all the level design, and never feels stale.

Combat is solid, exploration is great, story is good enough, art is a mixed bag. I think visually it doesn’t have a super strong presence, kinda feels like a litttttle like My Little Pony. But then there’s some bosses and environments that were really impressive, so I think it works overall.

Another one to add to the list of great Metroidvanias this year, and I hope more people get their hands on it.
