The world is picturesque and the uncanny yet befitting dialogue of the characters does the story of Alice in Wonderland justice. The story is dark and touches upon Alice's psyche as a theme about the perception of reality. It emits a strangely lasting, lingering influence which keeps you wanting to play more. It is truly a majestic experience you will not find in any other game that is rooted in reality.

The controls worked much better for me this time around than they did with Alice (only because the aging didn't work for me so well). Again, like American McGee's Alice, I enjoyed the themes and setting of this game. The controls worked much better for me this time around than they did with Alice (only because the aging didn't work for me so well). I played only through the first level or two (I remember the locale being very mechanical / steam punk) and thinking wow this game takes a really long time to burn through. The levels felt massive to me and not necessary never ending, but I remember being impressed with the length. I really want to sit down and play through this sometime in the near future, if for nothing else, to complete the story.

Fantastic game for the most part. The combat mechanics are awesome and the art style was unique and fun. The lock on and camera controls could get you into trouble sometimes.
