In the beginning, Starfy was moving things around Pufftop Palace, until he tripped and dropped some things he was moving. One of them fell into the ocean, which was the Magic Jar, an object that seals the evil being known as Ogura.

Cute game. Love the art and sounds. Very expressive. Gameplay itself works well, but nothing really unique that makes me feel like I should recommend it to other people. Some later levels got a bit annoying (confusing maze, replaying the same room 3 times) and the game does the thing I hate where content is arbitrarily locked away to the postgame. The main game didn't really compel me to engage in the postgame.
