Absolutely stunning art direction makes this one worth playing!

This is a pretty solid mid-game in itself. Repetitive combat and subpar platforming jumbled together in a bit of a slogfest.

However, the excellent art direction and incredible variety in levels and spaces make this such a joy to play through. You can NEVER guess their next move and where you will end up next, not even the main character stays the same! It's truly incredible in terms of making a game that's pretty short but feels really expansive.

The story is incredibly abstract and symbolic, but I really like this, and it's something you don't see a lot of games do, and it's something that I think games should do a lot more. It's also making an effort to push the medium, and that's always worth an extra star for me.

This one can be a grind, but the artwork and design really make up for it. More a piece of art than a game in my opinion.
