No review because I did the whole tutorial and a few runs on the first stage and... still do not like THPS! Back in the day I was really into Z-Axis's THRASHER SKATE AND DESTROY! It had better gameplay, a better soundtrack, controls, maps, modes, etc...

The fast arcade-y pace of THPS will never feel good to me. Just twitchy. I used to play this with friends because they liked it and I for sure much worse now at playing this type of game.
Not for me.

Loving this. It feels a bit more janky than the first remake - but it's a great nostalgia trip. Soundtrack is fine, could've used some more songs, been hearing collard greens waaaay too much, hah.
I hope that the studios and publishers involved keep giving THPS the love it deserves.

Glad to have this even though I wasn’t as big a fan of THPS4. When the remaster of 1 and 2 came out, I was much more in the mood to go back to Tony Hawk than I am now, as it turns out. Guess playing a lot of 1+2 really filled most of the quota for that nostalgic return. …

Guess playing a lot of 1+2 really filled most of the quota for that nostalgic return. That said, I do think I’ll at least poke away at this for a while since it’s such an easy thing to pick up and play a little of.

Iron Galaxy's Jank Skater is a frustratingly flawed send-off for a beloved series. While not bad, it feels more like a Robomodo game than a VV or Neversoft game; and as much as I don't hate THPS HD or 5 in moderation, it's disappointing compared to the sublime 1+2 remake.

I'm generally of the opinion that THPS 4's campaign has not aged well, and I have no objection to the cut down format, so I was expecting this to be an uncontroversial remake for me; but honestly I'm glad that I didn't spring for the Deluxe Edition rather than playing on Game Pass. I'm sure my experience will improve as I learn more lines, and how to avoiding pissing the physics engine off, but I can't imagine getting into playing every solo tour like I did for THPS 1+2.

I was super excited when i heard that this game was going to be a thing. I’ve heard for a while that it wouldn’t happen but the demo is here! It looks amazing. Graphics wise I was shocked by how good it looks. Just some good Tony Hawk game play. Can’t wait for the full release

I'm no Tony Hawk fan, but I know DOOM when I see it.

DOOM Guy's first appearance was in THPS3 as the OG design.

His design in the remake is his Eternal design which is my personal favorite. The Eternal design was also used for Fortnite and for Smash Ultimate. Revenant also makes an appearance as a skater with some meme references.
As much as I adore DOOM Eternal to death and back, there's too much Eternal iconography. Particularly on the skate decks. There could have been more iconography across all games, but it is what it is.
Andrew Hulshult's cover of At Doom's Gate was used for the Digital Deluxe Trailer. Hulshult and David Levy worked together on the OST for the DLC for DOOM Eternal so it seems like Hulshult is still gonna be used for DOOM stuff, just not the Dark Ages.
Like I said, I don't care about THPS, I just want to nerd out at DOOM.
