My first review of the year, bayyyybeeee. Dig the combat in Dynasty Warriors: Origins, but it is such a funny unforced error to make the story of your kill 100,000 guys simulator "You are the Guardian of Peace." The entry that takes itself most seriously and is the dumbest for it imo.

I realized fairly soon that it doesn't really matter if you're running around slaughtering soldiers by the hundreds if your army is still losing the battle. I didn't manage to beat Lu Bu at the end. Seemed like a super challenge to cap off the demo, and I've played enough, it's kind of a pain restarting in the way it's set up to fight a mega hard boss over and over. I'm kinda sold on the game though. I'm really hoping it'll come to game pass, but if not I might pick this one up towards the end of the month.
