Repetitive

I didn't know much about the game when I bought it. I thought it was a puzzle game that depends on designing your own city transport system, but I would barely call this a puzzle game.

I didn't know much about the game when I bought it. I thought it was a puzzle game that depends on designing your own city transport system, but I would barely call this a puzzle game.

It is simplistic and aesthetically appealing for the first couple of hours. but every level is the same and I think it would have taken me 10 more hours to get a run where i actually made any improvements. I'm not interested in repeating the same thing over and over, and certainly not in exploring the other 30 or so levels that are identical to the first 5 I played.

Not my cup of Tube

Mini-metro, at least from what I've seen in playing 10 or so levels, is a bit of a one-note guitar. It's pleasing to the eyes, can generate head-scratching moments, but really doesn't reward my time and effort. It's very minimalist...too much so, IMHO. Most levels have no minimum scores or specific objectives, a lot of level are named after different …

Mini-metro, at least from what I've seen in playing 10 or so levels, is a bit of a one-note guitar. It's pleasing to the eyes, can generate head-scratching moments, but really doesn't reward my time and effort. It's very minimalist...too much so, IMHO. Most levels have no minimum scores or specific objectives, a lot of level are named after different cities but seem largely the same (give or take a river) and there's not much to make one go back and play a level again after playing it once (no minimum scores, see?) I feel this is more a toy than a game. I still don't know what Exchanges are good for or what makes a certain station be a circle, a square or a star.

So, play it if you like something to dabble with while you do something else, or if you're really keen on high-score tables. Otherwise, there are much better puzzle games out there.

So slick

I think I'm finally over this game for now, but I think I'll be back for a bite-size aesthetic level soon enough.

i swear i'm not a nerd but if i was then i would give this game five stars.

this game is a really weird mix of "soothing" and "incredibly stressful" and it's really hard to pinpoint which of the two is happening at any given moment.

i'm very proud of having now designed some of the worst-thought-out metros in the …

This is such a calm, relaxing game.........................

Until it's NOT.

Whoever put me in charge of this city should be fired... haha.

This is my newest addiction. It's a super simple puzzle game that is smooth and lovely and well-done. It's a subway sim without any of the business elements. You just arrange lines and try to keep the entire thing from falling apart. It's simple and then........ it's really, REALLY hard.

My favorite aspect of the game is the sounds. The background is some ambient sound, and then each line has its own tone. When passengers get on/off the line, it makes a sound. When new stations pop up, that makes a sound. It builds and becomes a chorus and it's so lovely. (Reminds me of Portal, how all the different things you have going on in a room make a sound until it builds into this electronic ambient pretty thing)

Anyway - another puzzle game that I am addicted to. ;)
