You're a witch, leading your coven into new, unfriendly lands. Use the cards you find to build and expand your civilization. Befriend the local covens or use their bones to fuel your spells. Gather your familiars, the witching hour is nigh.

This is a Stacklands- / Cultist Simulator-like: everything (characters, resources, spells, locations, ..) is represented by cards that you drag around an otherwise empty space, and combining cards represents actions that can yield new cards. The actions take time to resolve, so you're often doing many things at the same time, which creates a very engaging and somewhat chaotic experience. I don't know if this is a named genre yet? A bit more like Stacklands than Cultist Simulator in that it leans into automation and production chains, especially towards the end game. I was pausing the game and microing the cards a lot too, but that might be more due to my playstyle than to necessity.
