With the last bit of money I had to spend on myself before my birthday come the 26th, and before the summer sale ended, I snagged a visual novel titled Highway Blossoms.
It is a genre I've played far too much of, being a voracious reading anime loving dweeb, and honestly, this one in particular is just adorable. Whereas something Katawa Shoujo I appreciated for the absolute batshit insanity that it was while still being somehow beautiful at the same time, this is just an adorable story about lesbians.
Being a lesbian myself, I wholly appreciate having this sort of content. Let's me imagine that, at least every now and then, we don't solely exist as a porn category for straight guys.
Anyway, it's a cute game, and it's a well made game too honestly. It's got full voice acting, great art, wonderful music and an interesting plot. It's a solid piece of work, and I totally look forward to whatever else the people behind it wind up making somewhere later down the road.
