I heard from some Youtube video that a lot of the folks that made this had worked on the Goemon series in its heyday, and even if that's total BS, it's hard to deny how Goemon-influenced this game is. I've gotten through 20ish stages so far, and kinda seems like I'm not even halfway through. Not sure that it has the juice to get me through another 40 stages or so. I really need them to change up the music a little, feels like I've been listening to the same mediocre track this entire time. We'll see!
