Back in the days of PS1 demo disks I stumbled upon this game and had my testicles blown off my body by the creative staging and presentation. Despite the 2D shoot em up being a simple genre, Square was getting coked up with their Final Fantasy 7 money and randomly decided to make one. What we got was a straightforward shooter with fantastic music and ambience, though this oddsey through a fictionalized German mech wet dream only lasts a few hours without deaths. I love this game as a strange experiment from 1990’s Square, and I love hoisting it as my hipster game that no one else knows about as much as I can. Unfortunately this game is pretty rare unless you want to import it.
