Hard to grasp but incredible when you do
This review is for the PlayStation 2 version

I played this game long ago. I didn't even know what it was about. In the beginning, I had no idea what I was doing. But that changed after I got acquainted with the controls...

You are the commander of a team or two of 4 soldiers each, each of them with a special ability/weapon, and you have to command their tactics to achieve your goals. Split the team in two, and while the gunner is keeping the enemy busy the rest of the team performs a pincer attack to suppress them. Advance through buildings, landscape... look for cover and choose the right approach.

It's not easy, but its difficulty rewards you in a special way. The difficulty is not because the enemies regenerate health or because their attacks hit harder than yours, but because you have to find the right moment to coordinate your teams' actions to continue towards your goal.

If a soldier gets injured, another one has to carry him through the enemy fire till you find a healing point.

The graphics are not the best, and the storyline can seem standard. But I had such a blast playing this game! Five stars because I can't give …

I love how very tactics focused this game is, but man, I forgot how hard as balls this game is.
