I rarely drop games, but GRID 2019 is annoyingly unstable. It crashed several times after completing a race without saving progress, so I just lost my patience. I was playing for 5-6 hours, it was moderately fun, similar to the very first GRID game. Graphic is mediocre, I probably won't remember anything about this game in a month or so.

Retired on October 29, 2019:

No desire to return to the game. It's functionally fine and it looks nice graphically, but it has a lack of content compared to previous GRID titles

Autosport was good but not compared to Toca or Grid 1. Even the amount of achievements were lazy with Grid 2019. The career progress, don't get me started. Now, the good parts. Good graphics good sound, a lot of content, although not too many tracks, and that is it. Too bad, honestly.

So as with so many other racing games as you play more and go higher in the rankings whatever difficulty you picked at the start is not really a factor anymore. That's the same here. You hit level 20-24 and your probably play at one level higher difficulty than you picked whether you like it or not. Still good with …

Really liking the game. But the reviews were spot on. Not enough tracks and the cars aren't very interesting overall. I do like the driving model, you will probably be familiar if you played any of the earlier Grid games. Nice part about this one compared to those is you can set a qualifying lap to set your position rather than just starting dead last every race. I'm about 8 hours in, I really like it, but I don't know how much longer I'm be playing. Just not enough here.
