Must play for any Naruto fan

This game for me is the best OG Naruto game you can play.
The two story modes are perfect. Hero's history summarize the most important parts of Naruto's journey before Naruto Shippuden. There are great CGI cutscenes for some special events and I feel like they still hold pretty well in 2024. I know that the chunin exam is not the main focus for this game so that's why I don't really blame them for skipping some important fights like Rock Lee vs Gaara or Sasuke vs Gaara. The other story mode called Ultimate contest is amazing. It is in fact mostly a filler arc but a very fun one. I think this story mode offers the best slice of life content for Naruto fans. This mode is played through an open world and it's well made. Many famous play of the series can be explored to meet specific characters.
As for the fighting, there is a lot of customization for the ninjutsu techniques and the ultimate techniques too. The game also introduce something called a second stage for certain characters that keeps a transformation permenantly until the end of a fight.
It's sad that they did not add the team support attack in the game. Still, I understand why. There is so much going around in this game that it does not even matter.
My only complaint is that I wanted more, this game was so fun.
